Contacts are generally of a cooperative nature and require skill in presenting ideas, addressing groups, and resolving problems.Īn employee in this class, working normally under the general direction of a departmental/agency head is responsible for providing, obtaining and/or coordinating essential administrative management services and integrating them with the general management of the organization. The purposes of the contacts are to advise, counsel, provide recommendations, coordinate work efforts, and resolve administrative-related problems. Contacts, both within and outside the organization to which an employee is assigned, include managers, supervisors and employees. This is supervisory administrative management work providing or coordinating administrative support services in a department/agency of the county government characterized by complex and diverse work assignments which have significant departmental scope and impact. Employee will also collaborate with Director & Deputy Director to manage related projects within Behavioral Health to improve system navigation within the jurisdiction. This position also monitors and provides technical assistance for key vendor agreements including the recovery community centers, women and children recovery housing providers and youth clubhouses. Responsibilities include ensuring services are provided in compliance with government regulations, contract requirements and best practices, monitoring and implementing the budget, and maintaining adequate staffing that are appropriately trained and supervised. This position provides the day to day management, oversight and supervision of the Recovery Community Support Services program which includes Community Case Management with Drug Court, Peer Support Services, Intensive Care Coordination and Women and Children Recovery Housing.
